Located in Reading, just 5 minutes from the M4, we are easily accessible while providing a private countryside setting, combining the character of a Victorian house with purpose-built event structures that can be tailored to your company’s needs.

Corporate Summer Parties
Our Garden room and adjoining lawn are perfect for hosting relaxed outdoor events with numerous catering and entertainment options. Larger parties can also make use of our paddock which is perfect for occasions that require space and visual impact.
Team Building
The grounds here at Trunkwell House are particularly suited to team-building and activity-led events. We are also one of the few local venues able to accommodate team building activities indoors when required, with a 560sqm Garden room providing a flexible, weather-independent space.
Conferences & Away days
Depending on the size of your event, the house with its private dining room and adjoining spaces can be an elegant setting for smaller-scale corporate occasions, like board meetings and executive away days. Our Garden room with its spacious interior creates a light filled environment suitable for conferences and presentations.
Catering
As one of the most experienced corporate events venues in Reading, we know catering is important too so we offer a wide range of catering styles, allowing menus to reflect the tone of each event.
Options include barbecues, hog roasts and street food stations for more informal occasions alongside bowl food, hot fork buffets and traditional buffets.
We also have more formal menu options for 3 course dining perfect for a corporate gala dinner and of course our amazing afternoon teas.
